Who Says Winter Shoes Can’t be Eco Friendly, Colorful and Fun?
By Bonny Osterhage
Just because the majority of the country is either snowed under or just plain cold, doesn’t mean that you can’t have happy feet! Chase those winter blues away with eco friendly shoes that will make you smile each and every time you see them peeking out from under your winter wear. And, just like the sweet little crocus pokes his head up in the snow, these colorful shoes hold the promise of spring days ahead.
Sneaking Some Sleep
For those of you, who cannot keep your eyes open at work or school, try the Workaholic Pillow that is not-so-cleverly disguised as an oversized book. The idea is that you can fool your boss or teacher into thinking you are reading or studying, when in fact you are actually napping on a nice cushy pillow. Seriously?! How dumb would anyone have to be to fall for this? First, who (except perhaps a lawyer) has any use for a book this
large? Second, there is not even a plausible title or any text in sight. Finally, wouldn’t lying face down on a book be a red flag that something is amiss? Perhaps you would be better served to prop this up and hide behind it to catch 40 winks. Approximately $62 at www.geekstuff4u.com.

Nau
Face Spring Showers in Style! Nau´s Got You Covered!
Here are some wonderful spring pieces you can get right Nau! It seems that the designers behind this urban and outdoor apparel company are expecting plenty of spring showers with their collection of eco fashionable coats and jackets, made from water resistant, recycled polyester to keep you stylish and dry.
Of course, we all know how fickle spring weather can be, but you will be prepared for any unexpected shower in the Succinct Trench (left/$250). This modern style can be compressed to fit in your purse, making it easy to grab when the skies turn gray. For something even more versatile, we love the Versa Blazer (center/$198). The feminine cut of this hip blazer is super stylish, while the enhanced features, such as security pockets, make it the ideal choice for the city gal on the go. If spring roars in like a lion, you won’t care when you wear the sleek Lightbeam Jacket Stripe (right/$175). With its stashable hood and hand pockets, this modern windshell will keep you warm if things take a blustery turn.

Curves in Mociun
Here are some curves you will want to embrace. Mociun’s Tie Dress in Black and White Curves Print is spot on with spring’s black and white trend. Some of you may know that the Tie Dress is a seasonal Mociun staple, but this year’s version has been updated with French seams, hidden side pockets, and a full, knee-length skirt. Made from 100% Tencel, the style is simple, yet sexy and sophisticated. We are thrilled that it is currently available to preorder for Spring! $370 at www.beklina.com.
