Eco Friendly Suits to Keep You Swimming in Style

Suit up and strut your stuff in eco friendly swimsuits that look, feel and perform just like their lycra counterparts. It’s only natural that, as eco fashion continues to evolve and become more fashion forward, swimwear should follow suit (so to speak). And, while it may have taken a bit longer to perfect, we think this year’s crop of eco friendly swimwear offers all the style, substance and selection found in other mainstream lines. In fact, we think these suits marry eco friendly and eco fashion swimmingly!

Wedding Day Blues

For the eco friendly bride, who doesn’t want to spend a lot of money on a dress she will only wear once, a group of British fashion students may have a solution. The biodegradable wedding dress!  By knitting a biodegradable substance into the fabric, the dress can be broken down in water after the big day, allowing the material to be used again. SERIOUSLY?!

While we applaud their efforts (kind of), we can’t help but wonder: if the bride’s tears of joy spill onto her bodice, will she find herself over-exposed? And, if the wedding is outdoors, what about rain? YIKES! Talk about a blushing bride! Personally, we would just buy a vintage dress, rather than run the risk of bearing more than our souls on our wedding day. However, we do still have a few bridesmaids’ gowns that might have benefited from this idea! Not available for sale yet — but who knows?
