BEACHY-KEEN ECO FRIENDLY BAGS

By Bonny Osterhage

As you head to the beach or pool this summer, don´t forget your sunscreen…and your hat and your sunglasses and your towel and your trashy novel and…and…and… Make it easy on yourself (and the planet) by toting all your beach gear in one of these eco fashion tote bags. As pretty as they are practical, these bags will hold all your beach essentials without weighing you down. We think that´s beachy-keen!

Seriously?! SERIOUSLY?!

Meat Cards???

Why on earth would any sane individual want to have their business cards printed on meat — or more specifically, beef jerky. Seriously?! Okay, sure, it’s creative (albeit ridiculously stupid, unless you’re in the meat business). Wouldn’t you be afraid that whoever you give it to might eat it and your info would be gone forever? The people behind “Meat Cards” actually boast about using 100% beef jerky and searing your information into it with a laser, trying to make us believe it’s completely natural. Now let’s get to the meat of the matter. Who is really the “jerky” here — the person who buys these cards or the company that created them? www.meatcards.com

GIVE TO CHARITY AND SHOW YOU CARE!

Please help us raise money for the world’s important causes by purchasing “I’m Tired of” bracelets and t-shirts and by spreading the word!

Okay, we’re going to be completely self-serving here, but it’s all for the greater good.

“I’m Tired of” bracelets raise money for 13 different world causes, including cancer, global warming, discrimination and world hunger. And, recently, we added our first organic cotton t-shirt for I’m Tired of Animal Cruelty with more causes to come soon. The bracelets are eco friendly, made from recycled tires and metals, cost just $10 and half of that ($5) goes to the charity beneficiary supporting the cause.
T-shirts are $36 and Best Friends Animal Society gets $18 from every shirt sold. We launched our campaign less than eight months ago and, in addition to Best Friends, have already donated a lot of money to some other amazing charities, like Diabetes Research Institute Foundation, Stop Global Warming, The Hunger Project and Breastcancer.org, but we need to do so much more.

So, we’re reaching out to our White Apricot fans to ask you to please help by buying the bracelets and t-shirts or by simply telling your friends, family and co-workers.

Go to the I’m Tired of website.
