Metallic hues of silver, gold and copper are no longer relegated to the back of the closet and forgotten until the holiday season. Instead, they are showing up loud and proud in the middle of summer on everything from bags and shoes to tees and dresses. The designer behind the LooWatt is trying to provide a solution to the 40% of people in the world who don’t have toilets. Okay… but what was the rationale for building said toilet out of horse poop? Seriously?! The LooWatt is a waterless toilet system where you take care of business into a biodegradable lining, which you then transport into your own “biodigester,”which turns it into fuel for cooking, which you then eat and, lo and 
behold, need to poop again…kind of like the “circle of life”… only with poop.
