What do you think of when you think of plaid? The 1980s? Golfers? Grunge rockers? Plaid may be all of those things but, this fall, plaid is everything. In fact, if you don’t add at least one plaid item to your wardrobe this season, you may as well hibernate and re-emerge in the spring. If you hesitate for fear of looking like a reject from “The Preppy Handbook” or, worse yet, a lumberjack, relax — these eco fashion plaids are completely wearable and the styles reflect the best of the current trends.

message? “There is nothing trashy about recycling unwanted clothing!” Her result? Trashy looking unwanted clothing. Seriously?! Who would wear this stuff? Jumpers with bizarre looking cutouts in the legs, cheap looking fabrics that appear to have been pieced together by a five-year-old — you would think the former Mrs. McCartney might have better things to do with her time.
